60's Mod Eyelook Using RetroGlam Mascara!

I received a Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara (for free to try out in my Influenster RoseVoxBox) and was asked to do my own take on the 60's Mod eye look that Georgia May Jagger is wearing in some of their advertisements.
Here is the look I created and how I created it!
First, I applied a white eyeliner pencil over my entire lid. I then patted a shimmery white powdered shadow over top of the liner:
Next I lined my lids with a black gel liner. I winged the line out past my eyes quite a bit:

Then I took the gel liner and added it to my crease. I connected the line from my crease to the winged area I did in the last step, making a bit of a triangle just outside my eye:
Last but definitely not least, I curled my lashes and applied Rimmel London's Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. I applied it to my upper and lower lashes:

I am loving the Retro Glam Mascara. It is a wet mascara with a really great full, hourglass shape:
It applies nicely. It seems to give me a nice amount of volume and length. It lasts similarly to other mascaras. If you rub your eyes a lot it will smudge, but not really badly, just a bit. Overall, I really like the Retro Glam Mascara and will definitely consider buying another when I am in the market for a new mascara.

Ipsy GlamBag November 2013

I recently received my November Ipsy GlamBag!!!! It is a great bag this month. If you aren't familiar with Ipsy, it's a monthly subscription bag. Each month you receive 4-5 full sized or deluxe sample sized beauty products. If you would like to get an Ipsy Glam Bag delivered to you every month you can subscribe using my referral link by clicking HERE .
Now on to the good stuff! Here are the contents of my November Glam Bag:

This was a special month, because everyone received a 6th bonus item from em Cosmetics!
Here is what I got and what I thought of the items I've used so far:
  • Starlooks Gem Liner in Amethyst- I am a fan of Starlooks. They have their own subscription box (Starbox) and that was my first sub box (I have since cancelled, but only because of finances). The color is a pretty, light purple with massive shimmer. I love the look of this on. The only downside is there is major glitter fallout. My under eye area is full of glitter anytime I use this. That being said, I still love this and the fallout doesn't bother me enough to not use it!
  • em Cosmetics Waterliner in Emerald- This is a gorgeous green shade! For me it applies smoothly (though others have had issues with theirs pulling) and it doesn't smudge off! When I swatched this on my hand, it didn't come off even with me washing my hands with soap and water. It didn't smudge when I rubbed the swatch only minutes after applying. So far, this has gotten the most use out of this month's bag.
  • Be A Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless- The color looks like a shade of berry, but on me it has a bit more of a pinkish-orange shade. I like the color. The texture is really creamy and applies smoothly. The color can be built up. It doesn't last a really long time, so if you're going out bring it with you to touch up!
  • Nailtini Nail Polish in Caviar Cocktail- I haven't tried this out yet, so I don't have any opinions on how long it wears or the formula, but the color is a nice silver shade. It should come in handy this holiday season!
  • Pixi Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched- I haven't used this yet. I have never been a bronzer fan. I feel like my face just looks dirty whenever I try to wear it. This shade, though, is very light and seems to have a bit of a rosy-ness to it. I think if it doesn't work as bronzer, I can use it for a blush.
  • Kiss Ever EZ Lashes in 01- These I also haven't tried yet. I am incapable of applying fake lashes! I try so hard. Watch so many Youtube videos and just can't get the hang of it. Someone suggested cutting them in half or thirds and I think I am going to try that (since my biggest application problem is getting both ends on right. I will get the inner part just right and then when I go to fix the outer end, it messes up the inner part that was right!) This kit comes with glue and some plastic tweezers, too.
So those are my initial reactions to everything in my November GlamBag. If you got the November bag, what variations did you get and how did you like everything?

Ipsy GlamBag October 2013

Here is a post of the contents of my Ipsy GlamBag!  For anyone who doesn't know what Ipsy is, it is a beauty subscription service. For $10 a month you get 4-5 deluxe sized samples or full sized products, all in a cute makeup bag! They can range from makeup to hair care to skin care. If you'd like to sign up, this is my Referral Link.
Here is a picture of my bag with a review to follow:
This month's theme is "The Art Of Beauty". There were tons of variations of bags this month. Here are the products I received and my initial reviews:
  • Coastal Scents Medium Shadow Brush: I am loving this brush. I used it with the loose shadow I received and it picked up the shadow so well! I loved the softness of the bristles as well and the length of the brush was good.
  • Starlooks Lip Liner in "Tipsy": I used to be a subscriber to Starlook's monthly subscription service "Starbox" and received this same liner. The quality is nice. The color is a nice coraly pink shade that I wore a ton last spring. I wish I would have received the other color being sent out. That being said, I will totally use it when I use up the other one.
  • Bella Terra Mineral Shadow in "Navy": This is a lovely shade. You can see it swatched on my hand in the pic above. It is a navy base with a lot of purple shimmer. It can be applied lighter, so I think it is pretty versatile.
  • Sexy Hair Spray Clay: The instructions on the bottle are pretty vague, so I'm not exactly sure the best way to use it. Today I just sprayed a bit on my damp hair to see if I noticed any difference and I didn't. I am going to research this a bit more and try it again.
  • Zoya Nail Polish in "Giovanna": This is my very first Zoya polish, so I was VERY excited to get it! The color is a gorgeous almost metallic green. The consistency was good and it applied well.
Overall I loved this bag! Last month I got the least desirable bag, so I was happy that I got a higher value bag filled with items I will use. I believe the retail value of all the items I received was $40.49, so I definitely got a good deal.
Are any of you subscribers? If so what did you think of this month's bag? What items did you get?

*The quote on the bag is: 'Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.' It is from Ralph Waldo Emerson.
