Now on to the good stuff! Here are the contents of my November Glam Bag:
This was a special month, because everyone received a 6th bonus item from em Cosmetics!
Here is what I got and what I thought of the items I've used so far:
- Starlooks Gem Liner in Amethyst- I am a fan of Starlooks. They have their own subscription box (Starbox) and that was my first sub box (I have since cancelled, but only because of finances). The color is a pretty, light purple with massive shimmer. I love the look of this on. The only downside is there is major glitter fallout. My under eye area is full of glitter anytime I use this. That being said, I still love this and the fallout doesn't bother me enough to not use it!
- em Cosmetics Waterliner in Emerald- This is a gorgeous green shade! For me it applies smoothly (though others have had issues with theirs pulling) and it doesn't smudge off! When I swatched this on my hand, it didn't come off even with me washing my hands with soap and water. It didn't smudge when I rubbed the swatch only minutes after applying. So far, this has gotten the most use out of this month's bag.
- Be A Bombshell Lip Crayon in Shameless- The color looks like a shade of berry, but on me it has a bit more of a pinkish-orange shade. I like the color. The texture is really creamy and applies smoothly. The color can be built up. It doesn't last a really long time, so if you're going out bring it with you to touch up!
- Nailtini Nail Polish in Caviar Cocktail- I haven't tried this out yet, so I don't have any opinions on how long it wears or the formula, but the color is a nice silver shade. It should come in handy this holiday season!
- Pixi Bronzer in Subtly Suntouched- I haven't used this yet. I have never been a bronzer fan. I feel like my face just looks dirty whenever I try to wear it. This shade, though, is very light and seems to have a bit of a rosy-ness to it. I think if it doesn't work as bronzer, I can use it for a blush.
- Kiss Ever EZ Lashes in 01- These I also haven't tried yet. I am incapable of applying fake lashes! I try so hard. Watch so many Youtube videos and just can't get the hang of it. Someone suggested cutting them in half or thirds and I think I am going to try that (since my biggest application problem is getting both ends on right. I will get the inner part just right and then when I go to fix the outer end, it messes up the inner part that was right!) This kit comes with glue and some plastic tweezers, too.
